Someone explores the difficulty in perceiving the individual in the crowd and their consequent alienation from the group and the observer.
The images consist of fragments of photographs taken of large masses of people, where the subjects are reproduced in such a small space of the photographic film, that the grain distorts the human figure in a way that their identity becomes completely lost, resembling the little that is recorded of their presence in the observer’s memory.
The large size of the prints deepens this idea, where the closer you try to get to the subject, the less you can recognize his identity.
