Biography:
Pedro Filipe Nunes (b. 1999, Agualva-Cacém, Portugal) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from ESAD.CR (2023) and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Fine Arts at the same institution. He works between Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, and Paris, France, where he is completing part of his studies through the ERASMUS programme.
His practice is primarily rooted in photography, combining documentary approaches with re-enactment. Filipe Nunes explores ideas of memory and identity, both individual and collective, while interrogating the ways images are seen, presented, and forgotten.
