Childhood Memories

Childhood memories resurfaced when the Artist returned to the town where he grew up. Retracing his steps, he revisited the places where he first experienced certain emotions. These sites were photographed and linked with the people, objects, and moments tied to each memory.

In exhibition, the images are shown with captions that reinterpret the usual technical details of an artwork:

  • The “artists” are the people involved in these experiences.

  • The “title” and “date” correspond to the emotion and the year it was felt.

  • The “medium” is represented by the objects or features of the depicted place.

Together, image and text encourage viewers to reflect on their own experiences, opening space for new narratives to form.
